Our promise to you

Affiliate links, disclosed. Your trust, first.

TrueTotal is free to use. Some of the links that take you to a retailer or provider are affiliate links: if you go on to book, they pay us a small referral fee — at no extra cost to you. That’s simply what keeps the site free. It changes nothing about the costs we show you or the order we show them in.

You see the true cost first

Every fee added, every euro of resale removed, each figure sourced and dated — shown in full before any outbound link. You decide with the real number in front of you.

Links never affect what we show

Whether a link earns us a referral or not makes no difference to rankings, the true-cost figures, or which options appear. Placement can’t be bought — it’s enforced by a published methodology.

No ads. No pop-ups. Your data isn’t sold

We take no advertising and set no ad trackers. Any affiliate cookie is only set after you consent, and your personal data is never sold — to anyone, ever.

What we refuse

The links you’ll never see here.

Some of the most lucrative links on the internet are ones we refuse to carry — because sending you to them would be unsafe, dishonest, or against the rules that protect you.

CFD / forex / crypto / trading platforms

Regulated financial promotions under Central Bank of Ireland & ESMA rules — promoting them to EU consumers without authorisation is illegal.

Off-plan / offshore property "20–30% commission" schemes

They pay a share of their own marketing fee, not a real transaction — and have a poor payment record.

Anything that hides its written terms, or charges to join

Legitimate programmes are free and show terms before you apply.

The formal disclosure

Some links on TrueTotal are affiliate links: if you buy or book through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. This never affects rankings, the true-cost figures, or which options we show — placement can’t be bought. Affiliate tracking cookies are only set after you grant consent. This page is our disclosure under the Irish Consumer Protection Act 2007. TrueTotal provides guidance, not financial or legal advice — confirm live prices, fees and your consumer rights with the retailer and official sources before you buy.
